PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

The Village along with the CIC have been busy getting playground equipment ready for installation at the Park.  Some of the playground equipment should be installed by the end of April.


PARABOLIC MIRROR

The Village has installed a parabolic mirror at the NE corner of East Main Street to aid in safer traffic flow at the request of Chief Wood. 

APRIL 6, 2009

AFFINITY MEDICAL CENTER

The Village of Beach City, Ohio and Affinity Medical Center of Massillon, Ohio are in discussions to establish a medical practice to be named Affinity Medical of Beach City by mid-summer.  The facility whose location is yet to be announced, will serve the needs of the community, as well as those of the surrounding townships and counties.

ELECTRIC OUTAGE PROBLEMS

The Village of Beach City expects its power outage problems to be solved soon.  Based on the work done in the past by Robert and Mike Raff in co-operation with AMP-Ohio and with engineering plans recently completed by the village's Public Power and Signal department in conjuction with First Energy's transmission group, the first phase of a two-phase project is expected to eliminate power problems by mid-summer.
